“My heart skipped beats when I began to realize that my hair started to fall massively! My hair strands were totally straightened and my roots were the only thing that was curly.
One day, I looked at the mirror, said to myself: “why is this beauty doing this to herself?”
Since then, I realized that it is the start of the end!
I went through a hard phase where I had to constantly take care of my hair, use natural products, stop any kind of heat, do lots of hair masks and be patient. The journey was not easy at the beginning but when I look at myself now, I see a confident woman looking at herself with pride!
I remember Coldplay saying “Nobody said it was easy “.
It wasn’t all pinky, actually I received many silly, useless comments on my curly hair but what really kept me going was documenting my progress every month and seeing how is my natural hair better than any damage that I did to myself just to feel fake beauty! “
