Naturally beautiful

“When I was young, my hair was curly and frizzy like Raqia and people used to tell my mother:
“How is your daughter’s hair not straight like her sister and the rest of the family? “
My mother, on the other hand used to make me feel like I am the only beautiful girl in the world.
When we were young, we weren’t used to straightening our hair , even on special occasions; because our mother was simply against that. She used to tell me people pay lots of money to have such a beautiful hair like yours!
This really raised my confidence and I became careless about what people might say, just felt the world is at the palm of my hands.
As I grew up, I was grateful for my mom , specially that she always insisted on not straightening my hair and made me embrace my natural hair and that’s why I say #My_daughter_will_never_know_relaxers “
